Health and wellbeing
Our employee's physical and mental wellbeing is essential to the work that HALO undertakes. We work closely with a board of experienced medical advisors to ensure that we are proactively managing health risks in the countries in which we operate, as well as providing employees with the sound travel health advice and support. We have also partnered with an Occupational Health provider to support us with all aspects of wellbeing from pre-employment medical checks to counselling. Further to this, we have trained paramedics, equipped with comprehensive medical packs across all of our locations. All international staff are covered by HALO's comprehensive insurance package.
Training
We recognise that our employees may need to replenish their knowledge and acquire new skills to do their jobs better, which benefits them and The HALO Trust. HALO encourages continued professional development which takes the form of formal training, coaching and mentoring, on the job training, job shadowing and job rotation.
Employee benefits
As well as a generous salary we offer additional benefits to our employees. These benefits vary dependant on whether you are based in the UK, US or internationally.
UK based staff are provided with generous annual leave, a contributory pension scheme, non-contributory life assurance, flexible working and a cycle to work scheme.
International staff are provided with accommodation, a local allowance to contribute towards daily living costs, generous annual leave and three return flights each year to their home country
For US based staff, we provide generous annual leave, sick leave, contributory 401k saving plan, contributory health insurance and contributory dental insurance.
