BBC report on clearing mines in Nagorno Karabakh

For more than two decades Armenia and Azerbaijan have been locked in conflict over the region of Nagorno-Karabakh. During fighting in the 1990s both sides planted thousands of mines which continue to pose a serious risk to the public. The HALO Trust has been operating in the area since 2000 and has cleared hundreds of mine fields but many more remain.
