You can save lives in Afghanistan
This year, life in Afghanistan changed completely. The fight for control killed thousands, and forced hundreds of thousands to flee their homes. Families desperately want to return but unexploded bombs, landmines and improvised devices remain a lethal threat to communities already ravaged by conflict.
When explosives block the roads, humanitarian aid cannot reach those in need. According to the UN nearly 23 million Afghans face starvation. Help is needed urgently.
Since 1988, HALO has been on the ground in Afghanistan keeping families safe. Currently our 3,000 Afghan staff are working across 18 provinces. Our priority is to remove improvised explosive devices left behind by the renewed fighting so displaced families can return home before the harsh winter weather hits.
Please donate to Afghanistan and support our work.
